Munga and KillaImij Records collaborate on ‘Wul Out’

It has been a year since Sheldon Thaxter, better known as 'KillaImij', decided to flex his muscles in music production and start his own label.

He made his debut with the 'Clock Tick' rhythm and has continued the pace with the 'Buzzer' rhythm, on which JayCrazie Records and Leadaboss Music share production credits.

Dancehall artiste Munga Honorable's Wul Out is the track from the Buzzer rhythm that has been making some serious noise on radio. KillaImij explained how the collaboration with the artiste came about.

"We had the Buzzer rhythm and I asked Jay (JayCrazie Records) if he could make a link with Munga on the beat. He reached out to Munga and he agreed to record on the project," KillaImij disclosed. "Working with the 'Gangster Ras' (Munga Honorable's nickname) was super easy. He is a man who knows his craft and one of the realest persons you'll ever meet."

KillaImij said that he is pleased with the response that the song has been generating since its re lease on February 24.

"The song is receiving heavy rotation on the radio from disc jockeys and also selectors in the streets. Foota Hype, the viral king, reviewed the song and said it has potential to be a banger. He knows a hit song when he hears one," the producer said.

KillaImij Records was established in early 2022. Its other principals are Kirk 'Leadaboss' Hall and Dexter 'Management' Smith. The label made its debut with the Clock Tick rhythm that featured songs by artistes such as Gaza KIM, Dwayno and Potential Kidd.

The Buzzer rhythm features songs by Javaugh Genius, Lutan Fyah, Wasp and Fantan Mojah, among others.
