Vibes Machine creates buzz with new song
Dancehall newcomer Vibes Machine believes he may have stumbled onto something special with his latest single, Bad Man Thing.
The artiste, who recently signed with Nah Change Entertainment, describes the response to the song as nothing short of “pandemonium”, claiming fans have been flooding social media with videos featuring the track.
“They’re playing it everywhere and tagging me in videos from all over the world —America, Canada, England, Belgium, and so many other places,” Vibes Machine said. “I never expected this song to get so much love and engagement, and I’m truly grateful. The support has been incredible.” For Vibes Machine, the song is about more than simply creating another dancehall track.
“It’s about showcasing my musical skill and proving my courage — I’m not afraid to step into a musical competition,” he explained. “It’s about defending myself and my brand while showcasing my creativity.”
That confidence appears to be central to how Vibes Machine views himself as an artiste. He says that he is a “one-of-a-kind personality”, who is charismatic, enigmatic, creative and playful.
“What separates me from a lot of young up-and-coming artistes is my lyrics, my creativity, my work ethic, my charisma, and my commitment to staying current every day,” he said.
The momentum surrounding Bad Man Thing comes as Vibes Machine begins what he considers a new chapter following his signing with Nah Change Entertainment. According to the artiste, the decision was influenced by his respect for the entity’s reputation within the music industry and his willingness to collaborate with younger artistes.
“[Producer Nah Change] is a highly respected person in the music industry who consistently looks out for young artistes,” Vibes Machine said. “He’s reasonable, understanding, and always open to collaboration.”
He said the relationship gives him room to bring his own ideas to the table, while also benefiting from the producer and label executive’s experience.
“It’s about elevating my career, sharpening my focus, and taking my brand to the world. The work starts now,” he said.
The artiste’s ambitions extend beyond Bad Man Thing. Within the next year, his goal is simple.
“My goal is to release a popular song that everybody can sing and recognise. That’s the mission,” he said.
