Unidentified body fished from water in Kingston

The Denham Town police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male which was found afloat in the sea in the vicinity of Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, on Wednesday.

It is of dark complexion, medium build, and is about 172 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long and appears to be in its late 30s. It was clad in burgundy underwear. Reports from the Denham Town police are that at about 12:30 p.m., police personnel on patrol stumbled upon the body in the water lying on its back.

It was fished from the water, the scene processed, and the body removed to the morgue for post-mortem.

The Denham Town police are asking anyone with information, who can assist them in identifying this body, to contact them at 948-6443, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station
