The Jamaican premiere for 'I Am Bolt' takes place today at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.

The movie, which was released last Monday, takes a look at the nine-time Olympic gold medallist's career and chronicles the life of the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt.

Directed by Benjamin and Gabe Turner, the film uses footage from Bolt's triumphs at the Beijing World Championships, Rio Olympics and London Olympics.

"I wanted to make people see what I went through to get to where I'm at today," Bolt said about the film.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness is among several persons invited to this evening's event.
