Marsha Gay Reynolds pleads guilty
Former JetBlue flight attendant Jamaican Marsha Gay Reynolds pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine yesterday.
The felony charge is punishable by a 10-year mandatory minimum prison term, with maximum being life imprisonment.
Sentencing has been scheduled for March 13.
Reynolds, 32, was arrested on March 18, after she attempted to smuggle nearly 70 pounds of cocaine through the Los Angeles International Airport.
Thom Mrozek, spokesperson in the United States Attorney's Office, said it is possible additional people may be charged.
