Man charged with murder of Burger King employee
Investigators have arrested and charged a taxi operator with the murder of Burger King employee Nile Brown.
He is Shamar O'Meally of a west Kingston address.
O'Meally was charged yesterday following an identification parade where he was pointed out.
THE STAR gathered that the accused and his girlfriend, Brown's landlady, were detained on February 9, a day after the Burger King employee's body was found in Ramble, St Thomas.
Reports are that she was stuffed in a blue barrel and her hand and feet bound.
A post-mortem revealed that Brown was strangled and sexually molested.
Brown's landlady was released on Sunday.
