Cop slips into mommy mode to take care of baby dropped off at station

When a baby was brought to the Bog Walk Police Station in St Catherine by a concerned citizen, Constable Jullan Graham did not hesitate to slip into ‘mommy mode’, showering the three-month-old with some much-needed TLC.

 Graham and her colleagues quickly took the baby under their care, making sure the little one was fed, clothed and comfortable while efforts were made to locate the child’s guardian.

 The officers did not stop there.

 They dug into their pockets to purchase *baby formula, clothing and other necessities* for the little one as they worked to ensure the baby was safe.

 Heartwarming photos shared by the Jamaica Constabulary Force show Graham cradling the baby in her arms and feeding the child at the station.

 In another image, the constable is seen gently tending to the baby while the little one lies on a makeshift bed.

 The baby is expected to be taken to a doctor for a medical examination to ensure the child is healthy and receiving the necessary care.

 The JCF praised Graham and the Bog Walk team for going above and beyond to protect the vulnerable child.

 The force said the incident was a reminder that "compassion, vigilance and a willingness to help can make a meaningful difference in the life of a vulnerable child".
