MoBay finds right formula

October 30, 2015

Montego Bay United's American coach, Tim Hankinson, says each round in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) brings it own challenges and he was proud to have found a successful method so far.

"It's a collection of points from a lot of different experience in the league. Each team is a different challenge, each venue is a different challenge, so we are proud that we are able to find a way to be successful under all the circumstances," Hankinson told STAR Sports after MoBay stopped Tivoli 2-0 to move two points clear at the top of the table on Sunday.

"We know there are some tough challenges ahead and we look forward for our next match," he continued.

"We have been giving up the first goal of the game in the last three or four matches, so to get the first one today (Sunday) and then to be able to get a second one really put us in the driver's seat," he said.

"Tivoli is an aggressive and determined squad, they never gave up and they didn't give up today (Sunday). Our possession should have been better and we didn't support the attack quickly enough as it was one man at a time trying to collect the ball and go to goal.
