The final of this year's Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been awarded to St Kitts and Nevis, organisers announced yesterday.

All four games of the knock-out stages will be played at Warner Park, starting on Wednesday, August 3 and culminating on Sunday, August 7, a CPL release stated.

"After a lengthy process over the last number of months, we are delighted to announce that the final will be held once more in St Kitts & Nevis," said CPL CEO Damien O'Donohoe.

"Warner Park is an iconic and intimate venue and will be a fitting arena for the staging of the play-offs and final, in what is shaping up to be a hugely exciting tournament".

This will be the second time that the final has been awarded to Warner Park.

Kieron Pollard's Barbados Tridents, who clinched the title two years ago at Warner Park, will no doubt be hoping that the selection of this year's final venue is a favourable omen for his side.
