Jamaica Tallawahs last night defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by nine wickets last night to win the 2016 Hero Caribbean Premier League title for the second time.

After skittling out Guyana for 93 runs in 16.1 overs, the Jamaica Tallawahs rushed to 95 for one in 12.5 overs.

Captain Chris Gayle struck a top-score 54, with Chadwick Walton supporting with an unbeaten 25.

Gayle, who had a bottle of champagne tucked under his arm, said the guys would celebrate the win.

"Thank God it's over, and I am happy we actually won the tournament," Gayle said.

Player of the Series, AndrE Russell, was delighted: "I never thought I would have T20 century, but with God, all things are possible."
