WIPA hails Scorpions skipper Miller
The West Indies Players' Association (WIPA) has hailed Jamaica and West Indies spinner Nikita Miller following his nine-wicket haul against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at Sabina Park last Saturday.
His achievement of capturing nine wickets (nine for 41) in an innings is the best in the regional first-class game in 50 years.
The 34-year-old left arm spinner, who made his debut at age 23, is also the first regional cricketer to claim over 400 scalps.
"WIPA would again like to congratulate the Jamaica Scorpions captain on his success, and wish him all the best for the remainder of the 2016/2017 Professional Cricket League season," the players' association said in a release.
