Fabian Reid's four goals in the Caribbean Club Championship have him fired up for his Premier League return against Humble Lion tomorrow. Meetings between the teams ended in 1-1 draws at Effortville and Tony Spaulding Sports Complex.

Reid netted a hat-trick in Arnett's 4-0 win against Real Hope on Sunday and had also scored in their 1-2 loss to host club W Connection. His exploits in Trinidad saw Arnett ending the group stage in second position on four points behind Group A winners Club Atletico Pantoja of Dominican Republic on seven points.

The winners and runners-up qualified for the final stage to be announced by the Caribbean Football Union. With that out of the way, Reid said that Arnett are back to defend their Premier League title.

Arnett are second on 44 points behind leaders Portmore United, who are on 53. However, the Junglists have two matches in hand.

"I am the leading scorer in the league this season. I am on form, so I will just continue to work hard. My aim is to still break Roen Nelson's record of 30 goals. I have scored 15 goals and have 13 games to play, including the play-offs. I am working hard to reach that target," said Reid.

"We are well focused now after advancing to the next stage of the Caribbean Cup. We are coming back to continue putting in some work to get the job done. I am in a good frame of mind, higher confidence, after been the top scorer in Trinidad," Reid told STAR Sports after his team returned to the island last Monday.

"We are behind Portmore, who are a very good team, but when we come out on the day, we are not watching that. We just have to win the games remaining and finish with most points for the $1 million and preliminary-stage title. We have to just win the two games in hand to pressure Portmore," he pointed out.
