RJRGLEANER hunt Business House domino title
RJRGLEANER Communication Group will seek their first hold on the NADB/J Wray and Nephew/Kingston and St Andrew Business House Domino Division Two title when they face Digicel in the final on Friday at the National Housing Trust (NHT) Car Park, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The news team, in their first time in Division Two, defeated Kris An Charles by nine points in a competitive semi-final, also at NHT last Friday.
The media men amassed 125 points to Kris An Charles 116.
The RJRGLEANER continued their unbeaten run but had to fight off a stiff second half challenge by Kris An Charles.
In the other Division Two semi-final, Digicel eased past Sagicor Group by 32 points.
The mobile network provider scored 122 to Sagicor 100.
Meanwhile in the Division One semi-finals, defending champions Campari swamped Jamaica Observer by 34 points. And, in the other semi-final, it was Kingston Wharves 99, Urban Development Corporation (UDC) 87.
For the Division One final, Campari will face four-time winners Kingston Wharves in a repeat of last year's final.
First vice-president of the NADB, Humbert Davis is expecting two highly competitive finals on Friday.
"Over the years, Kingston Wharves won the Division One four times and Campari is the reigning champion, so another exciting match is on the cards. And, in the Division Two, RJRGLEANER will look to add the Division Two title to the five they won in Division One," Davis pointed out.
