My boyfriend is too mean

Dear Pastor,

I am living with my boyfriend, but he doesn't give me any money unless I ask him. And whenever I ask, he says he doesn't have any.

This man is working. He is very mean to me. I am tired of asking him for the things that I need. I am not comfortable asking the man I am living with for money every time.

You should seriously consider leaving this man. Both of you are living together. He should know that he is under obligation to provide for you if you are not working.

You should not have to be asking him for money all the time. No woman wants a mean man. Tell him that if he does not change, you are going to move on. Don't just walk out on him, warn him first.
