Girlfriend's new man took her from my house

Dear Pastor,

I need your help. I have a problem getting a woman. My babymother and I used to live together, but I ended the relationship with her when I found out that she was having an intimate relationship with another man. I have never cheated on her. I worked, paid the bills and made sure she was always happy.

One night when I came home late from work, I saw her lying down on the couch. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me it was her period and it was making her feel ill, so I went and got her some painkillers.

The following day when I came home, she was still on the couch. This time she told me she just wanted to lie there. Thinking I did something to make her mad with me, I made no fuss and went to bed. During the night, I looked over to see if she was OK. I didn't see any sign of her. I got up out of bed and went outside. She wasn't even there, so I called her phone and got no answer. I waited for hours to see if she would come home; at around 4:45 a.m. she came in the house. I asked her where she was and her response was that her sister was sick.

PHONE CALL

Pastor, I bought into her lies and tried to comfort her. While we were there talking, her phone rang, and on the phone screen the name 'Baby' came up. We both looked at each other and she started to cry. I told her she should answer the phone because it is still ringing. I asked her some questions such as, Why the tears? Who is baby? How long had she been with this man? She said that she was sorry and she didn't want to hurt me. I told her to go and leave me alone.

I walked out of the house to cool off and to my surprise, there was a guy standing outside in the yard. I almost fainted. That was 6:30 a.m. I walked back inside and asked her who the hell was that man and why was he in the yard. And she told me that she was leaving with him and that she was pregnant for him.

Pastor, if you had cut me that morning you wouldn't see any blood. I felt as if I was watching a movie. What did I do? Where did I go wrong? I couldn't even say anything to her. They both walked out to his car and drove off.

Sometimes I wonder if I will find another woman to love me. It's so hard to try and talk to a woman because they can be very insulting at times. I am not good at talking to a woman.

It's been a while since I have gone out or even felt the warmth of a woman. I mostly masturbate. Sometimes I wish I had a woman in my life. But I worry about what she will say if I try to approach her. Will she love me for who I am? All I ever dream of is to find someone to love me.

C.W.

Dear C.W.,

I am going to tell you the truth. I don't believe your story. I believe that you are trying to get me to help you to get women in abundance. So you are prepared to tell lies about how difficult it is for you to find a woman. I repeat, I don't believe your story.

The things that you have written give the impression that men are fools. You see, what you have said about the woman lying down on the couch for two consecutive nights and on the second night when you got up, you couldn't find her, gave you away. Man, you too lie.

You ought to do better than trying to pull wool over my eyes. I have been in this counselling business for a long time. You can't even tell a good lie. Try and speak the truth always. You are a liar.
