My pregnancy is stressing me out

Dear Pastor,

I am having a serious problem. I am now pregnant, and I am telling you the truth, I really don't know what to do. My boyfriend and I were good as friends. Since he got me pregnant, I haven't seen him. I really need someone to talk to. At times, I feel like killing myself. I feel stressed out. I would like to talk to you in private. I don't think I can go on anymore with this child in me.

S.

Dear S.,

I want to assure you that I have tried to call you about three times, but did not get any response from you. I am sorry to hear that you are pregnant and you have been tempted to take your own life. I want to discourage you from doing so.

The young man who impregnated you should really stand up to his responsibility and support you in every way. You need his moral support. You need money from him to purchase the necessary things as you prepare for the baby.

When you are feeling depressed, call your friends and talk to them. Call the wife of your pastor and ask her to pray for you. Talk to your mother. But, please don't try to abort your pregnancy. I will be praying for you.

You may try to call me at 877-1009 or 929-1667.

Pastor.
