I'm sure I saw a duppy
When I was a child, a lady cheated on her boyfriend and he used a power saw to cut her into pieces. She was wearing a white dress, and later in the week, my brother and I saw her walking pass our gate going towards a shop where she used to buy cigarette every night. I was talking to my brother, but no sound came out of my mouth. He said he didn't hear what I was saying, just my mouth moving. My head felt as if it was going to split in two and he said he felt the same way. I was 10, and he was 13 years old. I experienced the same thing a few times.
Concerning gambling, I don't think anything is wrong with gambling. This game called 'Cash Pot' has helped unemployed people. I have seen that to be true. I gamble, but only if I get a dream and feel like it. And surprisingly, I am always lucky with the Cash Pot game. A person shouldn't do it consistently or get too greedy. He should have self-control.
In the first paragraph, you said that your brother and yourself saw a woman, who was murdered by her boyfriend, dressed in white passing your gate, going towards a shop where she usually bought cigarettes. I know that you would not accept what I say because you are very sure that it was the woman who has died.
However, I know that if this woman had died and was buried, she could not be walking on the street. I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince you that when someone has died, he/she cannot roam around. Dead people don't have such ability. Whatever you saw was not the woman.
out of greed
You speak highly of the virtue of gambling. You say that you have been successful in it. Many people will agree with you, and many others would not. Some people gamble for the fun of it. Others do it out of greed and they are always hoping to hit it big. Fools take their hard-earned cash and gamble, while their family is in need.
I do not know of any verse in the Bible that speaks directly against gambling. However, when one gets into the habit of gambling, it is very difficult to stop. Therefore, I will not encourage anyone to gamble.
