I want my boyfriend away from her

Dear Pastor,

I am working as a helper. The lady who I am working with is a single mom. She doesn't have any time for her children. She has three of them. I do not have children. On the very day I came here for the interview, she asked me if I had a boyfriend, and I told her yes. She told me that I could go home every two weeks.

After working with her for two weeks, she told me that she knew that I should have a weekend off, but she said that I should work and she would pay me for it. I told her I promised my boyfriend that I would come home, and she said that I could invite him to come and stay with me. She said that he would have to restrict himself to the helper's quarters.

My boyfriend came the Friday, but on the Saturday evening, he told me that he was leaving because he was too restricted. I told my boss that my boyfriend was not happy. The children saw him, and they were all over him. Now, my boss says that he can always come.

When my boyfriend was here visiting, every chance my boss had, she talked to him and was urging us to get married. I don't know why she doesn't want me to go home anymore. My boyfriend is asking me to leave the job and come home.

Dear T.H.,

Tell your boss that you would prefer to take your weekends off, and don't encourage your boyfriend to come back.

Pastor.
