Amlak Redsquare drops debut album
Reggae artiste Amlak Redsquare is taking a giant leap in kick-starting his music career with the release of his debut album 'The Book of Judges'.
The 11-track album, which was produced by RSQRB Productions and True Lion Sounds Production out of Germany, was released on November 18.
"I know a lot of people might be surprised that I've released an album before having a big hit single or dropping an EP, but the release of this album is a very significant step on my musical journey," he told THE WEEKEND STAR.
"It's a great feeling to know I'm able to put out a solid full-length project so early in my career, and I'm confident that it will help to make me a household name in reggae music."
The Book of Judges features collaborations with Spragga Benz, Exile Di Brave, Kazam Davis, Toke and Rseenal Di Artillery.
To promote the album, Amlak Redsquare undertook a two-month promotional tour of Europe, which ended in September.
Since his return to the island, he has been busy promoting the project. He said the work has been reaping dividends.
"It's paying off handsomely because that's one of the main markets where it is doing well," he said.
"Over the past month or so, I've been promoting the album locally, and I've been getting a lot of positive feedback about it everywhere I go."
