Jah Man wants to become a household name
Reggae artiste and songwriter Jah Man believes he is on his way to becoming a household name with the release of his new single, Call On Jah Mercy.
The single, which was produced by Jon Fx Crawford on the 'Smooth Groove' Rhythm, was released in September 2016, has been gaining heavy airplay across several Caribbean islands.
"I am amazed at how well received my song is across the Caribbean, especially in the Lesser Antilles and Jamaica. I will be tapping into the European market as soon as my video is released in coming weeks," Jah Man said.
Call On Jah Mercy speaks of the high crime rate, as well as the social and political issues affecting the world on a whole.
"I believe it is a part of my responsibility as an artiste to use music as a medium of motivation for the younger generation, and help steer them in a positive direction," he said.
The US Virgin Islands native, who is signed to Splatter House Records, has effectively released five studio albums and is currently working on new projects to be released.
"I have been doing good music over a decade, and just recently toured with the legendary Richie Spice and opened for Grammy-winning reggae act Morgan Heritage. Currently, I am in the studio putting together a project that will open the minds of each individual that listens to it," Jah Man said.
