Music videos are essential in promoting a song. Realising this, newcomer Jafe recently completed the video for his latest single, 'Tribe Style'.

The video was shot on location in the Red Hills area of St Andrew and directed by Dameon Gayle.

"It was a really nice concept that persons can relate to. It's showing the lifestyle of my dreams with the house and the girls," Jafe said.

The 20-year-old singer, real name Jahmani Grant, is from Montego Bay in St James, but he now resides in New Jersey, US.

His interest in music developed at an early age because of his father's affiliation with a sound system called Drunken Master.

"I grew up listening to music because my father owned a sound system. So, for me going into music was inevitable," he explained.

Jafe has been doing music professionally for a year now. He has recorded songs for producer Christopher Birch (Tribe Up on the 'Moskato' rhythm) and Tribe Style for Getamilli.
