Girls galore at Dancehall Jouvert
Inclement weather affected the turn out at Dancehall Jouvert on Saturday night, but it did not put a damper on the spirits of the party goers who did turn up.
Held at Sugarman's Beach, the event pulled a smaller crowd than was expected, but patrons partied the night away nonetheless.
With more women than men inside the venue, the intimate gathering proved to be a plus particularly for the male patrons.
The one man to three women ratio was all male partygoers needed to have the time or their lives.
It was jouvert after all and so it wouldn't be right if there wasn't the usual paint splashing all about the venue.
Patrons bathed each other in the substance sparing no part of their bodies as they turned themselves into human canvases.
The event stuck to its theme as although it was jouvert, soca music got little rotation throughout the night.
Each deejay took to the turntables and gave patrons a full serving of dancehall music.
Event organisers said that despite the low turn out, they were happy that at the end of the night patrons left satisfied.
