Reggae artiste Sizzla is set to perform at a Mothers' Day show in New York, USA.

The show, which will take place in Club Amazura on May 12, is being put on by Oneil Clarke's Hitmatic Records..

"The tickets are selling well, we are being bombarded with calls from anxious fans who are looking forward to seeing Kalonji on a New York stage again," Clarke said.

Sizzla, whose given name is Miguel Collins, has rocked the world over the years with strong anthems such as 'Just One of Those Days', 'Thank You Mama', 'Woman I Need You', 'Guide Over Us' and 'Holding Firm.'

Sizzla Kalonji last year returned to New York  for the Labour Day weekend eight years after his US visa and work permit were reinstated.

"Since that performance in New York last year, fans have been wanting to see him in NY again. We have listened to the people's cry and we are excited to include him as the headliner of this Mother's Day event," Clarke said.

The show will also feature newcomer Lady Ali.

"The buzz on the show is great here in New York, I did a video ads for the event and put in on my Facebook page, and it got thousands of views, my fan base is looking forward to seeing me on that show," she said.
