Ahead of Dancehall for a Cause in support of Niko Chromatic on Saturday, November 18, at the Triple Century Parking Lot (formerly St Lucia Car Park), the event's promoters have initiated an Instagram challenge. The prompts are focused on persons purchasing tickets and inviting others to buy the same amount or more. The main rule of the challenge is to buy of a minimum of 10 tickets.

All proceeds are in aid of the disc jockey's medical expenses and pending surgery in Cuba for renal failure.

Kareem Big Dreams of KGN 5 Street Dance, Terrace Bar and Grill and Chicken and Tings have accepted the challenge.

Damion Madden, Chicken and Tings CEO, told The STAR, "I don't know Niko Chromatic or Kimberly Mais personally, but I see how hard she fights for him. I am impressed by that and I admire black love."

Chicken and Tings received the challenge from the Terrace Bar and Grill to make a minimum purchase of 20 tickets and accepted by buying an additional 15, as well as committing the business to provide food for the VIP section.

"The truth is, we will not even be on the island for the event, but we have an idea of the food we will provide, in conjunction with Chicken and Tings (a challenge received from Damion) and we will be releasing an official menu along with him soon," Cadeem Mullings of Terrace Bar and Grill said.

"Terrace Bar and Grill never backs down from a challenge. At the end of the day, it's for a good cause and that's why it was important for us to accept the challenge," Mullings said, also speaking on behalf of his brother.

Media houses, restaurants and promoters of the popular events Sandz, Strictly 2K and Marco Polo have been tagged in the challenge.

"The Instagram challenges are very effective, especially in Jamaica. We are proud people and we love to show-off or ourshine the other person and, for some persons, it has become a bragging thing now. That works out for Niko, because more tickets will sell," said Mullings.

Recording artistes Sean Paul, Tarrus Riley and Agent Sasco, among others, have also been dynamic in promoting the event and challenge to the wider dancehall fraternity on social media. It has received over 500 reposts.

Pre-sold tickets are being sold for $1,000 Triple Century and Terrace Bar and Grill. The price will be $1,500 at the gate. Limited VIP is also available at $3,000. Persons who accept the challenge will have tickets delivered to them directly.
