Dancehall artiste Earthworm is generating buzz for the witty but introspective single ‘What Yuh Get Outta Bad Mind’? on the Victory Squad Entertainment label.

“The response to the song is incredible in the streets because the argument is powerful. Is a question everyone ask daily because we live in a world of poison, so we have to purge the evil thoughts,” said the artiste, whose real name is Kevin Anthony Isaacs.

The single will be officially released on all digital download platforms on May 10.

“My inspiration for writing the song was not that anybody bad-mind me. I am just asking a question that is relevant,” Earthworm said.

Earthworm is known in dancehall circles for his single She’s My Baby, and for a few years, he was a member of the Portmore Empire.

He recorded his first official song, Woman Yuh Know Yuh Body Good, in 1999 on the African Museum label for his uncle, Gregory Isaacs. He made a name with Chalice with Guinney Peppa on the ‘Purple Skunk’ rhythm and Wine Baby Wine, which was produced by Bobby Konders on the Massive B label.

In 2017, Earthworm returned to the music scene with Ride It for Mad Squad Records and Smoke and Drink, a collaboration with Munga.

Now, he wants the public to support his new song.

“Mi just want to big up everybody who a support the ting – the mixtape man dem, CD Johnny, CD Banging, Don Kingston and DJ Dotcom, the people in the streets, the producer Jah Snowcone. The people know me a bad artiste. Dem want something gwaan fi Earthworm, and it a happen,” he said.
