Empress Eko prepares for breakthrough in 2022

Empress Eko is in high spirits as she continues to work on her debut EP, titled Break Away.

The seven-track EP, which was originally scheduled to be released next month, has been pushed back to January 2022.

"My team and I was looking forward to dropping the EP next month, but we've decided to record some new tracks before we release it. Everything is still on track; it's going to be a wonderful project," said the artiste.

In the meantime, Empress Eko is focusing on pushing some new singles. She's currently promoting a single titled Breaking Up Situation that was released by DC Production in September.

"The feedback that I am getting is great. It's getting good support from DJs in the Caribbean, the US, Europe, Canada and the UK," said Empress Eko. Also on the cards for the St Catherine-born singjay is the release of another single, titled Get Insane. This single is slated to be released in December on the DC Production imprint.
