Damell Pacesetta sees success with ‘Call Me’
Dancehall artiste Damell Pacesetta is pumped up about the feedback to his latest single, titled Call Me, as the song has been added to numerous Spotify playlists.
"The song is really doing well, it was added to the 'Emerging: The Hot List' playlist alongside Drake and The Weeknd, so it's a really great look," he said.
The song was released four months ago and the visuals were released in November. The video has racked up close to 100,000 views.
In the meantime, Damell Pacesetta continues to emerge as one of those local artistes innovating how dancehall, rap and R&B can be blended together.
"The street campaign for Call Me is definitely gaining momentum, which is a good sign for the other songs I will be dropping strategically next year," he said.
Damell Pacesetta first got a big buzz locally with his single titled Money Nuff on the Drugz rhythm.
