Antiguan recording artiste Fucha Kid, also known as 'Feds Boss', recently released a new dancehall album, simply titled 7x7.

A collaborative effort between the artiste and Federation Family Studio, the seven-track album was officially released last month.

"The music I'm creating is very appealing as I would consider myself a fusion artiste who does multiple genres. Dancehall and reggae are my main genres and I sing for people from all walks of life, from young to old," the artiste said. Completed in two months, the album process was smooth sailing as the artiste channelled his creativity into his lyrics, which flowed into what has so far been a successful response.

"We have been getting some great feedback. Last year I started landing some singles on the iTunes Reggae chart and have been the No. 1 trending recording artiste out of Antigua and Barbuda up to this date," he stated. On top of the album's success, the artiste has 14 singles on the iTunes chart and a number one album called Wine, which held the top spot for 28 weeks, until it was overtaken by dancehall artiste Masicka's latest album 438.

Fucha Kid had the top song of the year for Antigua and Barbuda in 2021, a reggae/dancehall track called Work. Both the video and the audio landed the artiste on a few charts around the world. With this new project, he hopes for even greater results.

"We hope this project makes it to the Billboard charts and can possibly land me a few major features and music deals," the artiste said. He admitted that 2021 was a rough but successful year in music for him and there are plans for future projects and endeavours.

"We're planning to start shooting official videos for all my top-charting tracks right now, and I also have some bookings in the US, Europe and South America for this year," he revealed.
