Producer pursuing his passion for music
For Jermaine Fraser, the desire to venture into music has always been an undeniable passion, and, as such, he decided to launch his own record label in 2019.
Operating under the brand Bee Gee's Entertainment, the budding producer has already scored singles from reggae acts such as Lutan Fyah, Bescenta, Frenchy Lenez, Harry Toddler, Merciless, General B, Luciano, Swashii and Fantan Mojah.
When asked how his journey began, Fraser shared "I grew up in a musical environment. My father owned a sound system. Sugar Minott's studio was next door and as such I was exposed to a variety of additional musical influences that led to me being a producer today."
Last year, Fraser released his debut project titled 'Cold World', a juggling rhythm which features tracks such as K9ngston K9ng's Nah Mek Dem Fling Mi Weh and Swashii's Pree Like Dem which have both gained favour in international markets.
"I have to give my respect to Swashii as an aspiring star because he opened many channels for me including an introduction to Suku [of Ward 21] who currently engineers all my beats. The journey has not been easy but my friends motivate me and the fans recognise good music and are supporting it. I hope to become a household name and a brand that other young producers can draw inspiration from just as others were able to do that for me," said Fraser.
He then decided to release the 'Badda One' rhythm on January 14. It features tracks such as Medz Pon Dat by Swashii and Suku, Carry News by Fanton Mojah, Sledge Hammer by Lutan Fyah and Speedometer by Jahfrican.
