Lil Kish is forever ‘Grateful’

Child star Lil Kish shows her gratitude for her journey through life in a brand new track that has been appropriately titled Grateful.

"The song is about giving thanks for everything that I have accomplished and just being grateful for it all," said Lil Kish about the single, which was produced by King Kish Records.

"It's about me learning to appreciate everyone and everything in life," the singer explained.

The accompanying music video, which was directed by Abka Kaba of Kahinga Films, has been gaining traction since its release with many positive reactions from listeners.

"The feedback has been awesome, I can't complain," the singer stated, adding: "What I want people to get from this song is to just be grateful for everything that life has to offer."

At just 12 years old, Lil Kish is poised to be Jamaica's next big artiste, already seeing much success along her path to musical greatness. The Mandeville-based singer has released songs such as Corona, Rasta Girl, Living The Life, Times Like These and Jamaican History.

The high-school student said she has recognised the importance of balancing academics with her entertainment career.

"I will continue to stay focused in school so that I can have a good education and to continue being a recording artiste," she said.
