Leggo D Streets Wednesday, which is among the newest weekly parties being held in the Corporate Area, is already creating an impression in Kencot, the community in which it is being staged.

The brainchild of selectors DJ Tom and Raevas, Leggo D Streets Wednesday gives patrons an opportunity of a mid-week de-stress, especially at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with economic depression, has been weighing heavily on the minds of many.

This week's edition was hosted by dancehall artiste Marcy Chin, who is a daughter of the soil. She said that the event is a breath of fresh air for the community.

"This is what the doctor order -- respite from what is going on. The community loves it and all the street is talking about it. This event is a good look," she said.

Entertainer Chi Ching Ching, who did the theme song for Leggo D Streets Wednesday, was among the big supporters. And so, too, were dancers like Shelly Belly, Energy and Gabbidon who contributed to the 'shellings' and eventual success of this week's staging.
