Vaydaboss finds pleasure in ‘Pain’ rhythm
Dancehall producer-artiste Dennie 'Vaydaboss' Henry is pumped up about the response to his latest project, the 'Pain' rhythm.
The project was released on April 1, featuring artistes such as Fabo Bryan, Sample King and Jmane via Vayda Entertainment Records.
"We will be dropping three videos to help promote the project. We are in production right now with Fabo Bryan, and all of the videos will be out by summer," said Vaydaboss.
As an artiste, he has released songs like Cheer Fi the Gal, featuring Mackamilli. As a producer, he helped create the 'Deep Breath' rhythm, which was released last May and featured songs from artistes like ReniGad, Clymaxx and Kenzic, the lead actor from the film Sprinter. Vaydaboss has also engineered the 'Extra Terrain' rhythm, which featured artistes like Prospec, Della Ryhmes, Jmane and Keezy from the Cayman Islands.
"I am going really hard this year to establish myself in the game. I am even working on a juggling rhythm with Pamputtae, Caano and Byron Massi from St Kitts, which will come out this fall," said Vaydaboss.
Born in the Waltham Park area of Kingston 13, Vaydaboss attended Bridgeport High School where he fell in love with music. He started off as a selector using the moniker DJ Bruce, juggling mixes for the Rebel Tone sound from Canada. Once he made his name, he ventured into music production. He now lives in Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11, where he has consistently worked with local artistes to bring them to the forefront. He is also working on an EP with Fabo Bryan which is due out this summer.
