Delarue salutes the 'Bad Good Gyal'

Recording artiste Delarue says there is a deep meaning to his interestingly named single, Bad Good Gyal.

"This song is about a girl who is referred to as 'bad', someone who has a lot of boyfriends, but despite that she makes love well to captivate any man," the artiste explained.

Since its release, the track has been gaining traction, with mixed reviews all around. The accompanying music video, which was released in January and directed by Pro Films, has also been getting much attention.

"The feedback is mixed. Some people don't really get the message or others mistake it for a gun song, but people are tuning in! My hope for the song was to shine light on the fact that a lot of good men fall for bad girls who don't believe in love because of how that bad girl makes love to them. They get so deep with her that it sometimes messes up their lives," the artiste stated.

In the music game for the past 12 years, Delarue focuses on songs that reflect what's happening in society while mixing in tracks for the ladies. His previous releases include Unwanted Child, Date Yuh Girl and Money Bounce.

Keeping the momentum going, there are several projects in the pipeline for Delarue, who has a number of upcoming singles and music videos. As the work continues, the artiste is grateful for the support he has garnered over his career.

"I would mainly like to thank Kadoo Music Group for trusting my talent, [dancehall artiste] Falco D General for working with me over the years and Jayaro [another artiste] for the support he gives from time to time," the artiste said.
