Amari says Queenie stole her style

Amari DJ Mona Lisa is accusing fellow recording artiste Queenie Ladi Gangsta of stealing her musical style.

“When she did One Man To Mi Goodie, she used the same style that I did in my big song Neko, and then her new song, Tight Tight, come out and it was the same thing. She is just patterning me and I am tired of it, because she realise that God has shown me the path to success and it earned me Neko, and she just won’t stop. ‘Goodie’ was my term and she take it and used it in her song; and Neko was about a male, and she turned around and sang about Dewy (Queenie’s husband),” Amari said.

Queenie’s Tight Tight is currently one of the most trending songs on TikTok, but Amari says this would not be possible without her. She told THE WEEKEND STAR that she does not see Queenie as competition, but will continue to troll her because she also stole her man, 7Lawd.

“I am trolling her all the way to Calvary and it’s not because I want to compete with her, but because she slept with my man 7Lawd. Queenie is not in my category because I am a superstar with over 500 songs under my belt, but she is yet to write a song. She cannot have a song unless Sikka don’t write one for her,” she said.

She accused Queenie of destroying her relationship and passing her place. Amari said that she has long set the power couple trend, but Queenie is now trying to take the mantle.

“She is jealous and wants to be the only person around here as a couple, and I am the original power couple coming from the days of Gully Bop. I am the one who teach all of them to pair up, just like how you go into the Noah’s Ark two by two,” she said. “Find your own path, man, you are a big grown woman. Seriously, if Queenie Ladi Gangsta don’t stop, I am suing her.”

THE WEEKEND STAR spoke with Queenie, who said the only person she is currently interested in stealing is Amari herself. She said she is imploring her to record a new track as she has not done so since their lyrical clash at Sting.

“Anything Amari say a law and a she mi wah tief. Mi nah go satisfy with the tiefing until mi get she for myself. I am not in any challenge with her because Amari needs to go and do a song, because from we do Sting she supposed to do a song after mi do Hot Plus Tax. Mi just want to tief her so the two a we can do song back to back,” she said.

She said that Amari tried to steal Dewy from her but was unsuccessful.

“Amari a the least a mi problem right now, because all now she can’t do back a song from we do Sting,” Queenie added.
