Man allegedly beaten with board to wash dishes
A St Andrew farmer, who allegedly beat his brother with a piece of board during a dispute over washing dishes had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
The accused, Nelson Thomas, was ordered to return to court on December 21 when an outstanding forensic report is expected to be ready.
The police reported that on September 8, the complainant was told by his older brother to wash dishes after dinner and an argument developed.
Allegations are that the accused man used a piece of board to hit the complainant in the head causing him to get several stitches.
The matter was reported to the police. The accused man was apprehended and later arrested and charged.
