No breakthrough in St Catherine double murder

The St Catherine South police have identified the two young men who were gunned down in Newlands in the parish Thursday evening, however, they are yet to make further breakthrough in the double murder.

Dead are 20-year-old Rasheed Rattray, otherwise called 'Tittyman', of Lauriston, Spanish Town and 25-year-old Paul Nicholson, otherwise called 'Sanchez', farmer of Tower Lane, Newlands, both in St. Catherine.

Reports from the Portmore Police are that about 7:15 p.m., both men were on a pig farm in the vicinity of Anglin Lane in Newlands, when explosions were heard.

The Police were summoned and on their arrival, both men were seen with multiple gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The police said they are yet to make an arrest or establish a motive for the murders.

Investigations continue.
