62-y-o man admits firing gun in public without reason
At 62, tour operator Delroy Hepburn is facing criminal charges after allegedly firing his licensed gun several times near a public roadway in Clarendon.
Hepburn, of Berrydale district, Manchester, was charged after police responded to reports of explosions coming from a home in Green Park district, Sandy Bay, Clarendon, on Saturday.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that about 1:15 p.m., a police team was dispatched to the location after receiving reports of explosions coming from the home.
When the police arrived, Hepburn was reportedly at the location and allegedly admitted to firing his licensed firearm several times within 40 feet of a public thoroughfare, without a lawful and justifiable reason.
He was arrested and subsequently charged.
Hepburn is scheduled to appear before the May Pen Parish Court on Thursday, October 8.
