Coach of Dunbeholden, Michael 'Richie' Cohen, is not surprised by his team's performance in the ongoing Magnum/Charley's JB/JFF Premier League promotion series, he told STAR Sports.

The Portmore-based side, who are seeking a historic berth to next season's Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL), are atop the standing on seven points from three games, ahead of Barbican (five), Mount Pleasant Football Academy (four), and Wadadah rooted at the bottom without a point.

"It is going as we plan. We aim for 10 points from the first four games, so given that we have seven, the plan is to go there for a win," he said.

Dunbeholden defeated Mount Pleasant FA 2-1 in the first round at home on June 3, and will now travel to face the Eastern Confederation champions this Sunday at Drax Hall in St Ann, starting at 4 p.m.

"We are going for the next three points on Sunday against Mount Pleasant away," Cohen confidently said after his team's big 4-0 win against Wadadah last Sunday at Dunbeholden Complex in Portmore.

"The players are working hard as our motto is 'Teamwork make the dream work'. We will continue to fight as a team and take the series one game at a time," Cohen shared.
