I want to go to college

November 16, 2016

Dear Pastor,

I'm 29 years old and currently living in the country. I have a six-year-old son who lives with his father. I have lived here all my life and I feel so hopeless.

I would like to relocate to Kingston, get a job and go to college. It is my dream to attend The Mico University College and pursue a degree in special education.

Pastor, I am seeking someone I can live with. I would prefer an elderly person or a small family. I'm a very respectful, clean and tidy person. I don't go to dances and parties, as I want to fully concentrate on a job and college.

I really need the help, Pastor, and would be very grateful for any help you can give.

Dear K. W.,

Your child is already living with his father and I am assuming that his grandparents would help to take care of him if you were to get a job in Kingston.

I am also assuming that you have the relevant passes in the CXC examinations and that you have already applied to the institution of your choice.

You should contact the college and get all the relevant information from them. You should be prepared to work hard and to take any job that is available as you seek to prepare yourself for college.

If anyone is willing to help you, I will contact you.
