@Normal:The quicker we understand that adversities are often friends dressed like foes, the easier it is to overcome them.

Dear Pastor,

I recently started to listen to you and I enjoy your show. I have been reading your column in The STAR, but only recently found out about the show.

The show was introduced to me by my grandmother. She doesn't sleep until you have signed off.

I have got my boyfriend to listen to your radio show also. We have learnt much from you. It has also taught us how to handle our problems.

My boyfriend wanted me to get me pregnant, then one night you were talking about family life and you said "a couple should not have children until they are able to support them because children are not toys."

So, my boyfriend and I want to thank you for your advice and to tell you that we will wait until we have better jobs and can support our first child without going through unnecessary stress. Keep up the good work.

C.E.

Dear C.E.,

Whenever you see your grandmother, give her a big hug for me, and tell her that I hope that she would continue to enjoy the show.

I am glad that your boyfriend and yourself are also listening. I am also happy that I have been able to give you a little guidance on family life.

Save and invest your money. Don't be in a hurry to have children, but don't wait too late either.

Take good care of each other, and let me hear from you again.

Pastor
