A woman is claiming that my man is her child's father

Dear Pastor,

I am a regular reader of your column and I find it very interesting. I have a daughter. She is only nine months old. While I was pregnant, the child's father got involved with another girl, and after I had the baby, we couldn't have sex because I was having a problem. He told me that he had got involved with the other girl and he promised that he would stop seeing her, and he did.

But when we could not have sex, he went back to the girl, and the girl is now pregnant and is claiming that he is the father of the child. I know he is not the father because he says he always uses condoms. He is not a careless man. This girl has three other children, so it must be one of the other men who got her pregnant.

She keeps calling him, especially when she wants money. I told her not to call back and she cursed me. My child's father told me that I should not speak to her, but I don't like the way she is dealing with him.

I blame him for getting involved with her. I know he is a man and that he wants to have sex, but she is not his type, and I know that the child she is carrying is not his. She does not even know the men who are the fathers of her children.

Dear L.N.,

Don't you know that you should not swear for any man? Here you are condemning this woman and saying that your boyfriend is not responsible for her pregnancy. How can you be sure about that? Wise up! He may or may not have got this woman pregnant. He has had sex with her many times, and even when you thought he would have stopped, he didn't. You hope that the child is not his, but don't put your head on the block for this man.
