A scientist has invented a 'drunk' robot.

Eunchan Park from South Korea has created the unusual robot to accompany lonely drinkers and has affectionately named it 'Drinky', the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.

Captioning a video of Drinky, he wrote: "On Christmas in 2012, I drank Soju [Korean alcohol] alone because I had no girlfriend at that time. Drinking alone was definitely terrible. So I couldn't drink anymore.

"Lastly, I put an extra glass in front of me and poured Soju into it. And then, I cheered by myself with the glass of Soju, as though there was someone in front of me. Surprisingly, after that, the taste totally changed."

A rural community in Somerset, England, has been named Britain's 'kindest village'.

Congresbury, north Somerset, has been given the special title after completing 800 good deeds to mark the 800th anniversary of their local church, the Daily Telegraph newspaper reports.

Resident and organiser Becci North said: "A random act of kindness can be something very small, but it can have a major impact on someone's life.

"Everyone embraced the project. It did not matter how small or large the act was, it was the fact someone took the time to help another

person.

"So far, we have 817 acts of random kindness recorded and I am aware that there are some more to come in. The whole community have come together over the past year and blessed one another and those within communities further afield."

MoneySuperMarket have brought in Mr Wave to promote their new 'You're So MoneySuperMarket' campaign.

The financial advisory website made the 'epic strut' from office worker Dave a national hit and construction worker Colin's wrecking ball impersonation followed, also impressing viewers.

Now a new advert shows bodyguard Gary - aka 'Mr Wave' - protecting a government official during a protest and as the crowds swarm and close in, he begins to shake and body-pop to distract the bemused onlookers.

A news reporter tries to interrupt Gary, who's having none of it, and the crowd soon embrace his infectious dance moves.

The advert, which will be promoted with the hashtag 'EpicWolf', will debuted on Saturday on ITV at 7:30 p.m.
