A chef stabbed his friend after he stirred his chilli con carne.

The 26-year-old man, from Detroit, allegedly became so angry that his pal fiddled with his homemade grub in the early hours of the morning that he knifed him and bit him last week. The alleged criminal, whose identity is yet to be released, was arrested following the incident and the victim was taken to Sinai Grace Hospital with bite and stab wounds.

A man got a tattoo of an elephant etched on to his penis.

Kieran - a builder from Coventry - had the large trunk mammal emblazoned across his manhood following a booze-fuelled tattooing session with his friend, and in order to get the body art covered up he contacted TV show 'Tattoo Fixers' to have laser treatment to get rid of the bizarre piece. Speaking on the show on Channel 4, he revealed: "One day after work, we had a few beers, a few too many, and the tattoo gun comes out."

A man called the police because he was scared he would be attacked by a badger.

The drunk 999 caller had got lost in the woods when Force Operator Dominic Taylor took the call. He said: "He was on his way home from a night out and was scared that a badger was going to attack him - the joys of alcohol. He advised me he was very cold, so I suggested that he run to keep himself warm. I managed to direct the caller to some houses and found where he was using maps. The caller was very relieved when he got home. Most importantly, he got home without a single badger attack."

Wiltshire Police released details of calls as part of a weeklong campaign to highlight the inappropriate use of the 999 and 101 numbers.
