Jahn Vito looks to innovate with rhythms

Music producer Jahn Vito has been making his name with top singles such as Talibhan by Skeng and Stalk Ashley, and Red Eye by Rygin King, under his label West N East Entertainment.

He prides himself on producing with quality in mind, fusing multiple genres in his productions. He desires to cater to multiple markets and believes that it is essential to reinvent the wheel in music.

The University of the West Indies graduate garnered his inspiration from Jamaican producers such as Stephen Di Genius, Anju Blaxx, Rvssian, and Dane Ray.

"These producers have managed to create waves on a global scale. They are innovative, so I try to apply the same in my productions, from the composing of the rhythm to the artistes I choose to work with," said Jahn Vito.

In addition to his successful projects, Jahn Vito also looks towards management, and is working with fast-rising recording artiste Yared on numerous projects.

He said, "Yared and I have a good relationship, and he also believes in change and diversity in music. This helps me to be able to create more hits that people can enjoy." Jahn Vito, who has experimented with instruments, vocal recording, and instrumental composition over the years, said that 'trap dancehall' gave birth to his career and applauds any producer and artiste who dares to be different in their approach to music.

He is presently working on numerous rhythms which feature a mix of young and prominent acts from the Caribbean.
