Internationally recognised reggae and dancehall artiste Ikaya is stepping into a new chapter with the release of her highly anticipated single, ‘Vault’.

The single delivers a powerful message about heartbreak, betrayal, self-worth, emotional boundaries, and finally walking away. More than a song about heartbreak, it captures the emotional transformation that happens when someone reaches their limit and chooses to protect their peace, rather than continue reopening old wounds.

“Vault isn’t just a heartbreak song. It’s the beginning of my ‘cold era’,” said Ikaya.

The record speaks to anyone who has experienced disappointment in love and reached the point where forgiveness no longer means allowing someone continued access to their life. While the song is expected to resonate strongly with women, Ikaya emphasises that its message transcends gender.

“Vault is ultimately about choosing yourself,” she said. “You can love someone, forgive them, and still decide that they no longer have a place in your life. This record represents taking back your power, protecting your peace, and knowing your worth.”

The release also marks another important chapter in Ikaya’s evolution as an independent artiste and label owner. Following her recent single, Working Girl, released under her One Soul Music Group LLC imprint, Ikaya continues to build a musical platform focused on creativity, collaboration, and international opportunities. Her vision extends beyond individual releases. As both an artiste and label owner, she is focused on expanding her international reach while creating meaningful collaborations and opportunities for musical growth.

The collaboration behind Vault has also been an important part of the record’s development. Ikaya describes her experience working with One East Records and Top Shella Music as a genuine creative partnership built around shared commitment and belief in the record.

“I believe that when an artiste and producer share the same passion and determination, it creates a stronger foundation for the music. We both believe in Vault, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to make this record one of the biggest records of this period,” said Ikaya.

An official music video is currently being planned for the single.
