Cousins killed at shop in St Catherine

The St Catherine North Police have launched an investigation into the murder of two men at a shop in the Orangefield District in St Catherine on Monday night. 

They have been identified as 34-year-old Omar Givans, the operator of the shop, and his cousin, 31-year-old Dayton Dwyer a security guard at the Orangefield Primary School.

It is reported that the cousins were at the shop when four men drove up in a white Honda Stream, alighted from the vehicle, and opened fire hitting them both multiple times. 

Residents went to investigate after hearing the explosions and found the deceased lying in pools of blood.

This is the second double murder the division has been hit with in two weeks. 

The first incident happened in Spanish Town.
