Girls keep chasing me even though I’m married
Dear Pastor,
I trust that all is well with you. I am Jamaican, but I live up north.
I am here visiting relatives, but I always keep up with you. You continue to do a good job. It was through your column that I found a young lady. We are still going strong after 10 years. We have two children. I am also a Christian. When I got married, I wasn’t, but the Lord turned my life around. My wife also became a Christian. It is the best life a person can live.
It has not been easy. I still have to fight off the women. They still come after me and telling some of them that I am married does not mean anything to them. They say that they prefer married men. Since I am visiting, my relatives have been taking me around. Jamaica has changed. The cost of property is very high. I have been looking for a piece of land and hoping that when I see what I like, I may be able to swing a deal. I make fairly good money and my wife also gets a good salary. In fact, her pay cheque is higher than mine.
I do not believe that she will ever return to Jamaica. But I do not want to live in America and die there. I would like to return to Jamaica and live a quiet life. Our children were born in America, so I don’t think that they would want to live in a poor place like Jamaica, but I cannot be sure. I was just reading your column, so I decided to write to you. Keep up the good work.
A.
Dear A.,
I am glad that you continue to read my column. I am also happy to know that your wife and your children are doing well. I hope you enjoy your vacation in Jamaica and that you will be able to find a spot on The Rock that you like and that you would be able to make arrangements to purchase that piece of property.
As a married man, you should discuss whatever you plan to buy with your wife. That would be a wise thing to do. You have to convince her that real estate is a solid investment. Property still remains the foundation of wealth. You did not say whether or not you are renting where you live. I am assuming that you would be able to manage to purchase land in Jamaica even if you are renting where you live in America. I wish you well.
Pastor
