Obeah man demanded sex to break the curse

Dear Pastor,

I am 18 years old and I am living with my parents, a sister and one brother. For more than a year now I have not been doing well. I cannot concentrate on my work. Some of my mother’s friends told her that somebody put ‘bad spirit’ on me because they are jealous of me. My mother believed what they told her and she took me somewhere to get the evil spirit out of me. This man that she took me to shocked me, and I told my mother that I do not want to go back to see him.

The man interviewed me in the presence of my mother and her friend, and then he said my case is not easy to deal with. He said he would have to give me a bath, and I would have to bring certain ointments when I am coming back to see him.

Pastor, I have my boyfriend and he is the only man I have had sex with. This man told my mother that she needed to bring $20,000 with her and she should prepare me to have sexual intercourse with him. Right there, I told my mother and this spiritual man that I will not have sex with him because he may get me pregnant.

My mother said that I should not speak to the man that way if I want to get better. The lady who accompanied us said she had a problem and this man bathed her and anointed her with spices and had sex with her and she got healed. She believes in the man and that is why she told my mother about him.

My mother told me that I should not tell my father what this healer man said I had to do, but my father asked me and I told him the truth. He asked my mother how she could agree for this man to have sex with me and she told him that she agreed because she wants me to get better. My father told my mother that he would go and get the money and give her back, but she should not take me back to see that man.

By the time we left the business place, many people came to see the man. What do you think about this man?

You want my opinion about this man, but I should also give you my opinion on your mother.

She has lost her mind. The thought of taking you to see this man and to agree that you should consent for him to have sex with you, tells me that she is out of her mind. How would having sex with you solve your problem? This man is crazy and very wicked. Whatever he is carrying on is from the pit of hell.

Imagine your mother sat down and listened to the rubbish this man told you and agreed to it. Perhaps you need help indeed, but your mother’s situation is more urgent than yours. Does she really believe that if you have bad spirit in you it would leave the moment this man has sex with you? She is a fool. Whatever problems you are having, you should see a medical doctor. You should also not rule out going to see a psychologist because your problem could also be psychological.

You should put your life into the hands of God. He is still the greatest healer. So read your Bible and pray every day. I wish you well.
